New Colorado Solar Law

Colorado’s new Solar Pre-Wire and Consult Law has went into effect in August of 2009.   The law requires every new home builder to provide certain Solar options and information to its home buyers.  To properly initiate these new requirements, builders need to estabglish new Solar Trade Partners to advise their new home buyers on their solar options. The Law does not require the Builder to offer solar systems to its home buyers as a new standard option, however compliance does require that the builder choose a solar trade partner to advise the home buyer of their options and feasibility for solar.   In addition, the buider must present the home buyer with a list of providers that serve the area.   SunTalk Solar has a flexible program to meet your compliance with this new law with little to no cost or disruption to your building process.   Our long experience in selling options to homeowners and meeting schedules for home builders gives us excellent ability to be your Solar Trade Partner.   Call us today.
